About Me
Mirella Dry is a Print Designer from Yorkshire. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design from Arts University Plymouth. Mirella's designs are playful, colourful and completely joyful. She takes her inspiration from trends, the natural world and her surroundings. Mirella uses a combination of screen print and digital printing to create exciting surface designs.

Pattern Creation
Every design is hand drawn by me, whether that be digitally or through traditional mark making. I see all of the designs through from concept to final outcome. In my creative practice, I use a combination of digital and hand making skills, from screen printing to Adobe software. I feel that it is incredibly important to continue to use hand making skills and techniques to ensure that they continue for years to come
Digital Print Designing
As well as using screen printing to create my designs, almost all of them are initially arranged and composed in Adobe software. I also create around half of my work solely in Photoshop and Illustrator from concept to colour, it then goes on to be digitally printed on to fabrics, stationery and homeware
